On Saturday, April 20, 6th grade students from FSA Math Olympiad Team participated in the Cheetah Cup Math Competition at Creek View Elementary School. Once, again our students did a wonderful job and won 2nd place among 30 teams. Our 6th graders were only three points behind the first place team.
In the Individual category, 6th grader , Katherine Li won second place. Katherine answered all ten questions correctly in this round and tied with 5 other students. During tie break round, Katherine again got the correct answer but she raised her hand miliseconds after the first place winner. Therefore she won 2nd place at this tournament individually.
We are very proud of all of our Math Olympiad students. They have done a wonderful job this year. Congratulations to these students, their parents and our Math Olympiad Coaches, Mr. Tuzen and Mr. Seker. Way to go!
