2nd Annual STEAM CAMP for Academically Gifted

FULTON SCIENCE ACADEMY PRIVATE SCHOOL
is pleased to announce
2nd Annual S.T.E.A.M. Camp for Academically Gifted

FSA S.T.E.A.M. Camp provides fun hands-on activities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics to develop new skills, expand creative thinking, and foster team building and new friendships.


FSA STEAM Camp is taught by an award winning staff, occurs in an easy one-week day camp format, and is designed to be both fun and full of learning!
Activities include Math Games, Hands-On Science Activities, Multi-Media Art Projects,
Robotics, Computer Programming, and 3D Animation. 

Campers are divided into two levels to better tailor activities, instruction,
supervision, and content for a more engaging and fun experience!
Level Two: Grades 3-5
Level Three: Grades 6-8

FSA S.T.E.A.M. Camp for the Academically Gifted
is open to all Georgia gifted students in 3rd grade through 8th grade.


Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11, 2014  from 8:00am to 4:30pm

Cost: $250 per camper
This amount includes all materials, instruction, lunch, and snacks.
? Each student will be given a certificate for the successful completion of
FSA S.T.E.A.M. Camp for the Academically Gifted

6TH GRADER NADIA YANASAK WON 2ND PLACE AT THE REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR

Congratulations to FSA 6th grader, Nadia Yanasak for winning 2nd at the Regional Science  Fair with her project  “Weight or Drag: Which has a Greater Effect on a Paper Airplane?”. We also congratulate 7th grader, Mira Mutnick for the job well done at the science fair for the great representation of our school at the regional fair. Way to go!




FSA CHESS TEAM WON 1ST PLACE IN REGIONAL CHESS COMPETITION AND ADVANCED TO STATE LEVEL



FSA students did a wonderful job at the Regional Chess Tournament this past weekend. FSA Chess Team students won 1st place as a team and advanced to State level. Please see the ranking of the schools in 6th through 8th grade category below:

1st Place – Fulton Science Academy Private School
2nd Place – The Paideia School
3rd Place  – The Westminster Schools
4th Place – Taylor Road Middle School
5th Place – Chamblee Middle School

FSA Chess Team includes Charlie Furniss, Katherine Li, Hakan Aktas, Neel Amberdaker, Vikram Ruppa-Kasani and Sidharth Marupudi.
