ECON-O-MANIA IN 2ND GRADE!

Students in 2nd grade are learning all about Economics during our unit in Social Studies. Throughout the week, students were challenged with a variety of real-world application of their economics concepts. One of the favorites was a visit to the Mall of Econ-O-Mania! Students were given $300.00 to spend…. but $200.00 MUST be spent on items that they need in order to live. Working with their partners, students loved the challenge of reaching their $300.00 spending limit and choosing items that they really wanted to buy!

School Dance was Lots of Fun!

Our parents have done an amazing job preparing the cafeteria for our school dance. By far this was the best school dance at our school. Our students truly enjoyed it. Thank you parents for all the beautiful decorations, wonderful DJ and delicious drinks and snacks. You are the BEST! Please see some pictures and videos here:

SOCCER- WHAT AN EXCITING TOURNAMENT!

Congratulations to our soccer tournament championship winners!!!

Middle Grades: Team Saad Maan

Elementary grades: Team Bhavin Shah

The students on these teams have earned some awesome bragging rights and a dress down day on Wednesday, February 17th.

The students worked hard and played even harder. Two weeks of after school soccer games proved to be a great success. Thank you to everyone that participated and those that came out to cheer on the soccer teams as they played.

In an effort to give back, we raised $350 for Special Olympics. “Special Olympics is changing the world! Every day in more that 170 countries, Special Olympic sports are bringing together millions of people with intellectual disabilities, supporters and volunteers- creating a healthier, more respectful and welcoming world for all.”

Thank you to everyone for your contribution!
