School Dance was Lots of Fun!

Our parents have done an amazing job preparing the cafeteria for our school dance. By far this was the best school dance at our school. Our students truly enjoyed it. Thank you parents for all the beautiful decorations, wonderful DJ and delicious drinks and snacks. You are the BEST! Please see some pictures and videos here:

Fulton Science Academy student team NYAN, second place finalists of the 2015 Tag-Ed Web challenge, was invited to Google headquarters in downtown Atlanta for an awards ceremony on May 6, 2015. Team members Elena Juarez, Elaine Wen, and Shreya Rekapalli enjoyed a lovely evening meeting with other finalists, company representatives, teachers, and Google employees. The trip gave team members a very insightful and inspiring learning experience. Thanks to Mr. Sanal for being an awesome mentor! 2ND GRADERS PREPARED FLOWER POTS FOR OUR WONDERFUL MOTHERS!

fulton science academy private school gifts for mothers

2nd grade had a great time reviewing the plant life cycle, while also creating flower pots for our wonderful mothers. The students decorated the pots themselves, and planted their very own flower in the pot using loam soil. We discussed the benefits of loam soil verses sandy soil or clay soil. What a fun and messy hand-on experience! Happy Mother’s Day from 2nd Grade!
